"Salt Field" is a generative art series inspired by the Twenty-Four Solar Terms and coastal salt fields. a common man-made "natural" landscape at the seaside where we grew up.

Quote from Lucio:

"Growing up by the sea, I drew inspiration for this generative art series from the 'salt fields' I often saw in my coastal hometown. These salt fields are a fascinating juxtaposition – they are meticulously structured, man-made constructs, yet their form and texture are shaped by natural forces, resulting in unique, organically generated patterns. This interplay between system and generation aligns perfectly with the logic of generative art.

Our works, named 'Salt Field,' aims to capture the temporal changes of these coastal landscapes. The color palette draws inspiration from China's Twenty-Four Solar Terms, reflecting the subtle and diverse states of salt fields as they transform across different times and seasons. Through this work, we seek to express the delicate interplay between human intervention and natural processes, mirroring the essence of generative art itself."

“我在海边长大，这套生成艺术作品的创作灵感来自于小时候在家乡海边经常看到的’盐田’：它既是一种很规则的人造物，同时它的形式变化又依赖于自然的力量，形成独特的有机生成的肌理和质感——它与生成艺术这种“系统+生成”的逻辑是相通的。

我们的生成艺术创作以“盐田”为名，想表达盐田在时间里的变化，因此色彩的探索以中国的二十四节气为灵感，以表现盐田这种自然现象在不同的时间、季节里呈现出的微妙的多样状态。”
